In this concert, the Maat Saxofone Quartet explores the possibilities of a saxophone quartet; through contemporary music specially written for the group, through traditional works from the quartet repertoire, to transcriptions of works for string instruments. Then there is fado. "One can be brief about Maat's performance: promising, devilishly good and infectious, in all works" - Dutch magazine De Luister (2020). Winners of the Young Musicians Award (2018), Maat present themselves as one of the most promising young chamber music groups in Portugal and the Netherlands.
