Famalicão's Praça conquers national and international attention in several architecture awards

The project of rehabilitation of our Praça has been gaining the attention of national and international architecture experts and, as a consequence, has attracted many visitors. And it is excellent for Famalicão and for the famalicenses to achieve this visibility

Praça – Municipal Market of Vila Nova de Famalicão has been, in recent months, national and international highlights for several architecture awards. After having been the subject of a photojournalistic work in the January edition of the North American magazine Architectural Record, the Praça is currently nominated for two awards, one national and one international.

At a national level, Praça is one of projects selected as a finalist for the Real Estate Award 2022, promoted by the magazine Magazine Imobiliário.

The National Real Estate Award competition, traditionally known as the "Oscars" of Real Estate, has existed since 1996. The success of the initiative is based on the quality of its Jury, formed by eminent personalities connected to this sector, and on a very rigorous selection of the finalists. This competition distinguishes the excellent developments in the categories of Commerce, Offices, Housing, Collective Equipment, Tourism and Rehabilitation, as well as the Best Development of the Year. Praça is in the Rehabilitation category.

Meanwhile, the Praça project is also nominated for Building of the Year 2022, by the architecture website Archdaily, one of the largest and most visited architecture websites in the world. Here the vote is from the public and everyone can participate. To do so, simply access here and vote.
